Kim Lafave

Kim is a USFS Gold medalist in Freestyle and Dance. She is a PSA(professional skaters association) Master Rated coach in freestyle, moves in the field as and group. She holds a level 4 ranking through PSA. She has coached in Seattle, Minneapolis-St. Paul and several other places. She has had numerous skaters pass their senior moves, senior freestyle, gold dance. She has had skaters at Regionals and Sectionals. She also has had synchronized skating teams go to USFS nationals and ISI nationals. She has been director of various ice shows in and out of the area. She has been a coach for over 40 years with over 30 being in the Utica area.

Caitlin Fenton

Caitlin Deery Fenton began skating with the Clinton Figure Skating Club at the age of three. This is her fourteenth season as a professional, where she teaches Basic Skills, Synchronized Skating, and private lessons. During her skating career, Caitlin skated freestyle, moves in the field, and was a member of the Clinton Silver Blades and Silverettes for several years. Outside of skating, Caitlin works as a music teacher for the Remsen Central School District and performs in local theater. She lives in Utica with her husband, Mike, and their children, Grace and Owen.

Amy Lloyd

Amy Llyod has skated with the Clinton Figure Skating Club for 11 years, is a member of the Professional Skaters Association, and is a second year coach. During her skating career, Amy skated moves in the field, freestyle and was a member of the Clinton Silver Stars Synchro team, as well as Captain of the Silver Blades Synchro team for 4 years. Amy began volunteering with the Basic Skills program at age 12 and with Special Olympics the following year. She has been the CFSC Volunteer of the Year for 2 years and enjoys traveling to the Special Olympics winter games with skaters every year. Aside from skating, Amy is attending school to pursue a career in nursing. She is also employed at Savicki's Farm Market and A Movable Feast. Amy would like to thank Clinton Figure Skating Club, board members, and all of her students for a fantastic year and would like to wish all of the skaters the best of luck!

Tammy Lloyd

Tammy Lloyd has been skating with the club for over 15 years and is excited to be coaching for another year. Tammy has passed her Juvenile freeskate and her novice moves in the field and plans on continuing skating to further her levels and knowledge. Tammy began volunteering with the Learn to Skate program at the age of 12 and was an intern coach for 2 years at the Clinton Figure Skating Club. She was a part of synchronized skating for 5 years and has competed throughout much of her skating career. Tammy is available for private lessons for levels snow plow sam through intermediate freestyle and novice moves in the field. Apart from skating, Tammy is a registered nurse at St. Luke's hospital in the emergency department.

Jennifer O'Donnell

Jen started figure skating at the age of 6 With the CFSC. She completed her senior moves in the field and senior freestyle, becoming a double gold medalist at the age of 14. During her skating career she competed individually and in synchronized skating with the Silver ingots and later with the Silverblades. Her most cherished aspect of skating was competing freestyle at the regional levels and Empire State games. She is a member of PSA (professional skaters association) and is looking forward to teaching students with the CFSC. In past years she has been an assistant coach to the Girls CNY Bobcats hockey. Outside of skating Jen has been an LPN at CNY cardiology for the last 4 years.

Katelyn Potasiewicz

Katie has been skating with the CFSC for 16 years. She has passed both her Senior Moves in the Field and her Senior Solo Free Dance making her a two time US Figure Skating Gold Medalist at the age of 16. Along with passing tests she is also a 5 time Empire State Winter Games medalist. She plans to further her skating career and work towards her Senior Free Skate test. Katie is excited to be coaching future skaters and sharing her love for the sport with others. Along with skating she is furthering her education at Utica University for business management and sports management.

Emma O'Donnell

I have been skating with the Clinton Figure Skating Club the past 5 years, prior to that I skated with the Skating Club of New Hartford for 8 years. I have passed my Pre Juvenile Freeskate, Juvenile Moves, and Bronze dances. I began volunteering with the Basic Skills program at the age of 12, and with the Special Olympics at 14. I have greatly enjoyed my experience as a volunteer over the years, and am looking forward to pursuing my first year as a coach this fall, as well as continuing to expand my skating experience. Outside of school, I am a sophomore Occupational Therapy major at Utica University and work part time at Parkway Drugs. I'd like to thank the Clinton Figure Skating Club for all the support and opportunities and can't wait for this season to start!

Maggie Mieczkowski

Maggie Mieczkowski is coming to us from West Hartford, CT, and has been on the ice for 13 years. She has passed the entirety of MITF and Novice freestyle. This summer, she has worked through the preliminary and pre-bronze ice dances and hopes to complete more during the school year. Maggie has taught Learn to Skate for four years and privates for 2.

As a sophomore at Hamilton College, she plans to graduate with a bachelor's in Biology to become a genetic counselor. At Hamilton, she is VP/Assistant captain of the Figure Skating Club Team and enjoys working out and spending time with her friends. Maggie has the availability to coach evenings during the week and mornings on the weekends. She is excited to be a part of the Clinton Community and meet all the wonderful skaters.
